So, it's your first kiss and several questions might come to mind:Is it the right time? Is anyone watching?Does your partner even want to?Is your breath fresh? Then you lean in and just go for it!!!

i've been dating a guy for 6 months now and things have been great except...before me he had a lot of female friends...they we're never sexual (so he says) but very touchy feely.
i've met them all and he has the tendency to still be touchy feely with two of them.. i'm not comfortable with it because he now has a girlfriend.
should i be worried?
Ok, when you say "touching" what exactly does this involve? Is it sexual? Some people are just more "touchy feely" than others, but it's non sexual. You know, hug your friends when you see them, touch their arms etc during conversation.

I like the lesbian thingy...in fact we have all engaged a little. Little on his part but a lot on our part (the two girls).
Ok, let me get this straight. You don't like him being "touchy feely" with these two women, one of whom happens to be a lesbian that you are "touchy feely" with? Why is ok for you to be touchy feely with this woman and not him?

since you left, have you ever overheard or heard through the 'grapevine', what the local jw's say about you?
No, I rarely have any contact with any JW's now, except some family.
I do remember a few years ago, visiting with my mother and her cousin. They were sitting around the table talking and catching up. My mom's cousin says "did you hear so and so left the truth?" I remember sitting there and thinking "I'm sure someone must be saying that about hubby and I somewhere."
enjoy i certainly did - not .
there were 2 brothers.
john's son was lame and james' son suffered from blindness.
I think you should have put a "gag alert" on that! lol
Hhhmmm, I used to suffer terribly from headaches when I was at the meetings. Now I rarely get one.

i have always suspected that chiropractic is a total crock.
the concept that having your backbone crackled a little bit every month will control your blood pressure, cure your asthma and keep you mobile and flu-free until you're 120 seems farfetched, and yet all my life every time i have had a headache i have been inclined to set up an appointment.. i've really only been in serious pain three times; some bad neck pain which cleared up after a depressing relationship, some lumbar pain from a bad lift incident which cleared up after three weeks of wiggling around on a fitball while i was watching tv in the evening, and some weird shoulder pain which cleared up when i rejoined a gym.
i have wasted a lot of money for many years - chiropractic just wasn't there for me.
Quite possibly the answer to this question, is to follow the money. It's only been in recent years that insurance has covered Chiro. That tells me that they must have realized that it works, thus saving them drug and surgery money.
Actually, it's gone the opposite direction here in Ontario. A portion of the visit used to be covered under our Ontario Health Insurance Plan. Several years ago OHIP stopped covering any portion of a chiropractic visit. The studies they did, didn't support the benifits Chiropractors were claiming.

i believe the moment's right to discuss a very serious matter............................................................beer.
what do you like?
let's edumicate one another!
Picked a random pack of craft beer from a drive through beer and wine store in Ohio for Christmas at Awake&Watching's fest. We all laughed when we looked at the letters on the cap! I think this should be the official "JWD Beer".

I'll never go to a chiropractor again. I had back problems, and went to a chiropractor for help and it took me about three months of going 2-3 times a week before I could walk a block without pain. I started to do exercises to strenghten the muscles and the next time I felt the problem coming on again, went to see a massage therapist. Before I went in to see her, I couldn't bend to put on my own socks and shoes, hubby had to do it for me. After an hour and a half with the massage therapist I could do it myself on the way out. I try and be careful with my back, I can feel it when I slack off on my exercises and visit my massage therapist as needed.
I worked across the hall from a woman who's father in law suffered a stroke after an adjustment from a chiropractor.

i am new here and i have been reading a lot of stuff on this board.
my parent's are both jws, i am still active and still believe i have the truth.
i consider myself a moral person.
Will we need to start performing background and credit checks before we can be approved to meet each other in person? That's good for starters. We may need to phase in body cavity searches as well.
W
Are you volunteering to be the searcher or searchee?? lol BB
